The Red Shoes was a musical gothic cabaret adaptation of the classic tale, by York-based physical theatre company Four Shadows Theatre. With an original live score (including a homemade drumkit that turns into a suitcase), this show for young audiences and families toured to festivals around Yorkshire, on the set - a bed with wheels which travelled from venue to venue in road traffic.
