This sunset was so beautiful but at the same time I felt a lot of dread. It looks like it’s dying, it looks like this isn’t real life, just a sci-fi film set, a planet scripted to be destroyed in the third act. It looks like we really are just a lonely little orb in space, with nowhere to go and no one coming to rescue us. It looks like an atom bomb, especially with the shaking and the sound of the wind, which I decided to keep in for that effect. It looks like a sun who could just wander off and leave if it felt so inclined. Leave us with only the darkness, and our petty little electric lights. Leave everything to wither and die. Every morning shows up, and for what?
