All good things must come to an end, and sadly York Shakespeare Project's run of Timon of Athens at YorkShakes - York International Shakespeare Festival - was no exception.
I had a fantastic time working with the company as movement director, we trained, we laughed, we devised and we danced together, and the final product was something to be proud of. It was a joy to work with a community company and share in their creativity, energy and sense of humour, and the all-female powerhouse production team led by director Ruby Clarke was a very special group to be part of.
The show was a huge success. drawing full houses and receiving some lovely reviews, including this one from Unknown Magazine: http://unknownmagazine.co.uk/yisf-2015-timon-of-athens/
